1490894 Sliding drawers J KESSEBOHMER and H J KESSEBOHMER [trading as HEINRICH J KESSEBOHMER DRAHT-UND METALLWARENFABRIK UND DRAHTGROSSHANDEL OHG] 9 A pril 1975 [19 Oct 1974] 14503/75 Heading A4B [Also in Division B8] A drawer, tray or like container includes adjacent side walls 1, 2 in the form of an open, wire framework having respective upper and lower longitudinal members 3, 4 and 11, 12 inter-connected by transverse members 6-8 and 14, 15, one side wall 1 having transverse members 6, 7 disposed at the ends of the wall 1, and the other side wall 2 having its upper and lower longitudinal members 11, 12 formed with hooks 16, 17 which engage around the end transverse members 7 of the first wall 1, the extreme transverse members 14 of the second wall 2 being secured to the longitudinal members 11, 12 adjacent the base of the hooks 16, 17 and on the side of the wall 2 which faces inwardly of the container. The container may have three or four sides which are secured to a base 10. In one embodiment, Fig. 1, the container has two side walls 1 and one end wall 2, one end of the side walls 1 being secured by a bracket 20 and straps 20, the other end having the lower end 25 of its transverse member 14 shaped to have a spring locking engagement with a rail 23 secured to the base 10 and serving as a drawer runner. In another embodiment, Fig. 2, the container has four sides. Two sides 1 are as previously described and the other two sides 2' do not have the extended lower end 25 of Fig. 1. Then walls 2' are secured to the base 10 by snap engagement of a lower edge 12 in an undercut groove 31 in the head 30 of a clip 28 with a dowel portion 29 fitted into a hole in the base 10.
