Abstract

1488763 Modular buildings; crypts E C DUWE and W E DUWE 9 April 1975 [9 April 1974] 14519/75 Heading E1A A modular building, such as a mausoleum is constructed from precast modules one of which B comprises a horizontal slab 22, having a pair of spaced side walls 11; 12 and a portion 15 cantilevered therefrom, and, a rear wall 20 of such a length that it has a free edge 21 extending beyond the free edge 16 of the cantilevered portion 15. The module B may be combined with like modules and somewhat modified modules A, C and D to form a multi-storey construction erected on a common base, see Fig. 1 (not shown). Each crypt 13 is provided with a vent hole 43 and the front of the crypt may be closed by a sealing plate [41] and a cover plate [42] of marble. For minor joint details the Specification should be referred to.
