Abstract

1330677 Partitions ALPHONS GLUTZBLOTZHEIM AG 7 Oct 1970 [9 Oct 1969] 47683/70 Heading E1W Partition or other posts 1, 1' are mounted between the floor or a floor rail and the ceiling or a ceiling rail, using solid elastic blocks 4, e.g. of neoprene, at one or each end of each post, the blocks being compressed by the insertion of the posts. The blocks are of the same horizontal cross-section as the posts, and are hammered into the final position. The rails, if used at the floor or ceiling, may have neoprene or putty strips e.g. 4b, 4d therealong to contact the floor or ceiling. A lining may be applied to a brick wall using similarly erected posts between floor and ceiling rails, with panelling on one side only, Fig. 3d (not shown). A double-skin partition may be constructed with a central foamed panel between two rows of partition posts, with panelling on the outer sides thereof.
