Abstract

1488566 Cooling fuel injection nozzles ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 7 May 1975 [30 Oct 1974] 19070/75 Heading F1B A fluid-cooled fuel injection nozzle for an I.C. engine comprises a nozzle body 1 having a sleeve 2 disposed around the nozzle body and sealed thereto at spaced locations to define a coolant chamber 6. A sealing ring is disposed at at least one of said locations and is in engagement with both the nozzle body and the sleeve, which is shrink-fitted on to the nozzle body. In another embodiment, Fig. 2 (not shown), the end of the sleeve (2') remote from the injection aperture has been rolled into an annular groove (15) in the nozzle body.
