Abstract

1487340 Motor vehicle propulsive assemblies DR ING hcF PORSCHE AG 5 Dec 1974 [5 Dec 1973] 52599/74 Heading B7H A motor vehicle has a propulsive assembly comprising an engine unit 1, 2 and an axle-drive change-speed transmission gear 4 drivingly interconnected by a drive shaft 29 disposed within a tubular support 30 fixed to the engine unit 1, 2 and to the transmission gear 4, the motor vehicle being characterized in that the propulsive assembly is mounted on the body of the vehicle through resilient mountings 5, 6, 7, 8 which are situated in nodal planes A, B, C, D of transverse vibrations of the propulsive assembly, and in that a plurality of equally spaced mountings 44, 45, 46, 47 mount the drive shaft 29 in the tubular support in nodal planes of transverse vibrations of the drive shaft. As illustrated in Fig. 5, each engine unit mounting 5 comprises a rigid core 11 connected through elastic webs 13 to the vehicle bodywork 9.
