Abstract
1486471 Cleaning compositions HELIOS KEMISK-TEKNISKA FABRIKER AB 6 Sept 1974 [7 Sept 1973] 39056/74 Heading C5D A detergent composition for cleaning an aluminium or aluminium alloy surface consists of water, as a solvent, one or more alkali metal hydroxides and an inhibitor to decrease the corrosion of the surface, one or more watersoluble or water-dispersible salts of one or more unsaturated fatty acids, and optionally a calcium soap dispergator which is a surface active agent having the ability to keep a calcium soap finely dispersed and prevent the formation of a visible calcium soap scum. The unsaturated fatty acid may be tall oil, oleic, linoleic or ricinoleic acid, the potassium salt thereof being present. The alkali metal hydroxide may be sodium or potassium hydroxide or a mixture thereof. The calcium soap dispergator may be an ethoxylated tallow fatty alcohol.
