Abstract

1485706 Selective retrieval systems BYGG-OCH TRANSPORTEKONOMI (BT) AB 3 Oct 1975 [4 Oct 1974] 40646/75 Heading A4T A machine for removing selected goods from lines 8, 9 of stored goods and for collecting together a required selection of the goods in a load carrier 2, comprises a wheeled chassis 1 having a space 1' for at least one load carrier 2 to be removably located thereon, a transversely extending guide 3 projecting laterally beyond both sides of the chassis 1, a lifting rod 4 which has vacuum hoisting gear 5 mounted thereon being mounted on a movable cross-member 3a of the guide 3 so that the rod 4 and gear 5 can be located over one of the lines 8, 9 to remove selected goods therefrom, the removed goods being placed by the members 4, 5 in the load carrier 2 which is located on the chassis space 1', and after that carrier 2 has received the required selection of goods it is removed from the machine by a device (7) which then places an empty load carrier 2 in the machine, Fig. 2 (not shown).
