1484030 Coupling terminal ROSS COURTNEY & CO Ltd 24 Oct 1975 [6 Nov 1974] 47995/74 Heading H2E A coupling terminal has a base 12 and two spring arms 13 and 14 for receiving a round or flat pin terminal; portion 19 is the contacting part and is at an angle of, e.g. 2-4 degrees to the plane of symmetry 15 and is formed centrally of the indented or longitudinally extending recesses 21 the bases of which make an angle γ, e.g. 5-10 degrees with said plane 15. The angles are so chosen that portions 19 are parallel when a 2 mm thick flat pin is inserted and the bores of the recesses are parallel when a 5 mm diameter round pin is inserted. The recesses may be polygonal or curved in section.
