Abstract

1483668 Simultaneously controlling A.C. and D.C. currents in separate loads K AZUMA 12 Aug 1974 35499/74 Heading H2H A switching system for simultaneously controlling direct and alternating currents flowing in separate loads comprises a triac 1 connected in series with a load 6 and a D.C. source 3 and a second triac 8 connected in series with loads 13, 14 and an A.C. source 4. When the triac 1 becomes conductive, so as to allow the D.C. source 3 to supply the load 6, the triac 1 simultaneously renders the triac 8 conductive whereupon current flows in the loads 13, 14 from the A.C. source 4. If desired a third triac may be connected between the triacs 1, 8, the polarity of the third triac being reversed relatively to that of the first triac 1.
