ETHYL COOPER Ltd 20 Aug 1974 [24 Aug 1973] 36609/74 Heading C5F A non-aqueous lubricating composition or hydraulic fluid comprises a major amount of a lubricating oil and a minor amount of one or more tetra - poly(oxyethylene) - poly(oxypropylene derivatives of ethylene diamine, having a molecular weight of 1650 to 15,000 and a poly(oxyethylene) content of 10 to 50%. An additive concentrate comprises a minor amount of lubricating oil and a major amount of the derivative of ethylene diamine. The oil may be animal, vegetable, mineral or synthetic. The composition or the additive concentrate may also contain known additives.
