Abstract
1482401 Measuring fluid-flow BERGWERKSVERBAND GmbH 26 Feb 1976 [19 April 1975] 07687/76 Heading G1R A flow measuring probe comprises a tube 2 containing an anemometer 6, a protective gas permeable cover 210, a diffuser to which a guide rod 3 is connected and members 27 to guide the probe in a gas extraction borehole 1 in a coal mine. The probe carries instruments 7, 8, 9 for sensing the concentration of CH 4 , pressure and temperature, these parameters are displayed and/or recorded on panel 50. Gas samples may be extracted via a pipe 4 or the rod 3. As shown the probe is centred in the hole by the members 27; alternatively pneumatic members seal the space between the tube and hole to force all the gas flow through the tube.
