Abstract

1481951 Hollow charges M GALUCHON 3 March 1969 [4 March 1968] 11303/69 Heading F3A A lining for a hollow charge of a mine or a projectile is of conical shape with an obtuse vertex angle and is provided with at least one weakened area, for example an annular groove, so that on detonation, the lining separates into portions having different actions on a target. The centre portion of the lining may perforate the target, and splinters from the target and the outer part of the lining are projected through the perforation.
