Abstract
1480263 Clocks JAEGER 29 Oct 1974 [29 Oct 1973] 46734/74 Heading G3T In a clock, e.g. a car clock, having a setting stem 6 mounted centrally in the glass 7 and axially movable to bring a pair of diametrically spaced feet 11, 12 into corresponding notches 15 in the end of a minutes hand arbor 5, the tips of the feet are bevelled to prevent damage to a slender seconds hand 17 attached to a spindle 2, 16 which runs within the arbor 5, and the end of the spindle is bevelled at 19 to the centre the stem 6. As shown the stem has a recess 20 to receive the end portion 18 of the spindle.
