Abstract

1479637 On-and-off castors PHILIPS GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN NV 2 July 1974 [5 July 1973] 29351/74 Heading A4U [Also in Division B7] A trolley for movably supporting a domestic appliance such as a washing machine comprises a part 4 which is fixed to the base 1 of the machine and a part 9 which is connected to the part 4 by pivoted links (32), Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), a lever 10 being pivoted at 11 on the part 4 and having a pin 12 engaged in a slot 13 in the part 9 whereby movement of the lever 10 about its pivot 11 moves the part 9 relative to the part 4 between a position in which wheels 5, 6 on the part 9 are retracted with the domestic appliance being supported on a floor surface by feet 7, 8 and a position in which the wheels 5, 6 engage the floor surface with the feet 7, 8 clear of the floor surface.
