Abstract

1477531 Applying foam to fibres or sheets BAYER AG 20 May 1974 [22 May 1973] 22384/74 Heading D1L Spinning preparations in the form of oilin-water emulsions are applied to fibres or sheets as a foam, the applied layer having a thickness of 0.01-100 Á. The foam may be applied by passing the fibre or sheet 8, 15 vertically through a bridge of foam formed between the slots 9, 14 of a pair of pipes 6 or chambers 11, the tubes and chambers being supplied with foam.
