Abstract
1510411 Forming wood panels VAN DRESSER CORP 12 March 1976 [1 March 1976] 10108/76 Heading B5A A panel comprising a sheet of fibrous material, e.g. wood fibres in a resin binder, with a substantial resistance to bending but capable of being softened, is totally immersed in a body of water at 120-212 F. so that it becomes sufficiently ductile to permit forming without tearing or blowing; thereafter formed by the application of heat and pressure in a pair of dies and held between the dies until it is sufficiently dry to hold its shape.
