Abstract

1477421 Spray carburetters FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 21 Feb 1975 [14 March 1974] 7454/75 Heading F1H In order to enrich the mixture beyond a predetermined throttle valve opening, valves 66 controlling air bleeds 62 to the emulsifier tubes 50, in the main fuel passages of two Venturi type carburetter barrels, are progressively closed as the throttle valves 38 are further opened. At the predetermined opening, a cam 94 on the throttle valve shaft 40 engages rod 78 to operate the valves 66.
