Abstract

1475168 Tents B L FELDMAN and F M GABY 6 Sept 1974 [2 Oct 1973] 39070/74 Heading E1A In a tent comprising a framed roof with eaves poles 4 the roof is supported off the ground by U-shaped members B which are adapted to impart a spreading force to the eaves poles in order to tension the fabric of the tent. The legs of the members B may be telescopically adjustable and the central portion provided with a notch to locate a ridge pole, see Figs. 2 and 6, (not shown), respectively. The eaves poles are threaded through sleeves attached to the tent fabric and the ground sheet G is provided with loops for pegs.
