Abstract

1472823 Releasable fastenings BENGT PETERS NEW PRODUCTS INVESTMENT AB 26 March 1975 12748/75 Headings E2A and E2B [Also in Division F2] A fastener for securing a cable or tube to a wall comprises a clip 1, a body portion 2 provided with a groove 3 open on one side, a plug portion comprising parts 4 for insertion in a hole in the wall, and an expanding element 9 having one end connected between and to parts 4 such that it may be pivoted about said end from a position outside the opening between parts 4 to a position where it is located within the opening, and its other end located above groove 3, the arrangement being such that when the element 9 is driven into the opening between parts 4, the parts 4 expand outwardly into engagement with the surface of the hole in the wall. The clip may have a corrugated inner surface The outer surface of parts 4 may be provided with ribs 5 and tapering grooved surfaces 6 may be provided on opposite facing surfaces of the parts. The parts may be connected by bar 7. Element 9 may be provided with a tapering furrowed portion corresponding to surfaces 6 and a pin 11 seatable in a recess 2 in the body portion. The element may be attached to bar 7. The fastener may be injection moulded in one piece from plastics material.
