Abstract

1472500 Bearings HOESCH WERKE AG 22 Dec 1975 [6 Jan 1975] 52441/75 Addition to 1382400 Heading F2A The rolling bearing disclosed in UK Specification 1,382,400 is modified in that the two wire members 9, 10 which each have a single running track are arranged in the undivided ring 13, and the wire member 8 having the two running tracks is arranged in the divided ring 12. The wire member 8 is held in an annular seat provided by two inclined surfaces 20, 21. The rolling elements, which may be cylindrical rollers, barrel rollers, or balls, are disposed within cages 2a, 3a. The support member 8 may be formed with a polygonal cross-section, e.g. a square cross-section. In an alternative embodiment, the divided ring forms the inner ring of the bearing.
