Abstract

1471780 Ink droplet printers XEROX CORP 29 Aug 1974 [4 Sept 1973] 37875/74 Heading B6P An ink droplet printer comprises a backing electrode 18 and a nozzle 10 to which a voltage can be applied to generate a droplet on demand, the voltage applied being in the form of a pulse having a decay rate slower than its build-up rate. An additional A.C. signal may be applied when the voltage is at its peak, or when the voltage is at its base level, or at both times.
