Abstract

1471632 Metal hose adaptors J TANDRUP 13 June 1975 25418/75 Heading F2G An adaptor 3 for coupling a metal hose 1 with a tap comprises a collar 4 for engagement with the tap, the adaptor having a throat 8 in which is located a metal sleeve 2 by means of flanges 9, the metal sleeve being soldered or glued to the metal hose 1 and also serving to locate an inner tube 5 within the hose 1 by means of a compressible ring 6 and an inner metal bushing 7 between which is wedged the end of the inner tube 5. The bushing is preferably of brass and the ring 6 and inner tube 5 of polyvinyl chloride.
