1471343 Cleaning imaging surfaces XEROX CORP 19 Aug 1974 [24 Aug 1973] 36391/74 Heading G2H An electrostatographic apparatus in which a driven continuous imaging surface, e.g. of a photoconductive-surfaced drum, is cleaned by a cleaning blade contacting said surface and extending in a first normal direction of motion of said surface, is provided with means for intermittently reversing said direction of motion of said imaging surface while said cleaning blade is maintained in said same contact with said imaging surface in order to free the blade from built up contaminents and from blade edge "tuckunders".
