Abstract

1470553 Moulding two-part electrical couplings SOURIAU ET CIE 25 June 1974 [19 July 1973] 28010/74 Heading B5A [Also in Division H2] An electrical connector comprises a contact socket 1 with a shoulder 7 which locks behind spring tongues 6 of a locking clip 5. The clip 5 is partially shielded by a sheath 16 which prevents the spring tongues from being jammed by the entry of plastics insulation material into the clip during moulding within a mould 13 of the clip in an insulator 2. During such moulding the socket is replaced by a core 12 which is in combination with a core 14.
