Safety valves; checkflap valves; closure members.-An air-craft radiator closing valve comprises a spring-loaded lift valve a seated upon a flexible-rubber disk seat c or upon a metal expansion pipe. The lift valve a opens to relieve excess pressure, and the disk or expansion pipe flexes inwardly in the event of a vacuum forming in the radiator. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) of the Act, separate or combined outwardly or inwardly opening valves may be used. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
