1468547 Sintered steel product SINTERMETALLWERK KREBSOGE GmbH 12 July 1974 [14 July 1973] 31014/74 Headings C7A and C7D A powder mixture comprising:- The carbide particle size may be less than 100 microns and the powder mixture may be admixed with zinc stearate or micro-wax, compacted at 580-700 MN/cm<SP>2</SP>, sintered in vacuum, hydrogen or cracked ammonia gas, cooled at a rate of at least 100‹C/minute, reheated to 880‹C to 900‹C, oil quenched and tempered at 300 to 400‹C. The steel product obtained may be in the form of a gear-wheel, lever or flange and does not contain any free carbides.
