Abstract

1468118 Clamps TRIDENT PLASTICS (PTY) Ltd 27 Sept 1975 39680/75 Heading B4W [Also in Division C7] A clamp for holding a workpiece in position in an anodizing bath comprises a clamp body 12 with a first contact tip 20 and a movable member, e.g. screw 14, which carries a second tip 18 in alignment with the first tip for clamping a workpiece therebetween, the clamp body and movable member being formed of or at least coated with a corrosion resistant plastics material and the two tips 18, 20 which are embedded in the movable member and clamp body respectively being formed of hard, wearresistant and corrosion-resistant material. The clamp 10 shown is formed from polyphenylene oxide and has clamping tips of titanium.
