Abstract
1467481 Corner reflectors STROMBERG COMPONENTS Ltd 10 April 1975 [17 Jan 1974] 02262/74 Heading H4A A radar corner reflector comprises an assembly of reflecting plates in an octahedral arrangement each plate 10-12 being retained in position with respect to an adjacent plate by a retaining member 15 at each corner of the octahedral arrangement, the members having a pair of slots for the reception, positioning and retention of the meeting extremities of the plates. As described, retaining clips 15 of, for example, resilient plastics or hard rubber material have undercut slots (16, Fig. 2, not shown) to match undercutting (13, Fig. 3, not shown) of the plates at truncated corners of the re-entrant octahedron. The plates 10-12 may be interconnected by slotting (Fig. 4, not shown) or by any convenient means which enables assembly and disassembly. The corner reflector may be used on small craft.
