1467415 Trisazo dyestuffs IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 18 Dec 1973 [21 Dec 1972] 31452/76 Divided out of 1465889 Heading C4P Novel dyestuffs of the formula wherein E is or are prepared by diazotizing C.I. Acid Green 20 (C.I. 20495) and coupling under acid conditions with 2,4-diamino-benzene sulphonic acid or maminophenyl glycine. The dyestuffs, which may be used in salt form, are useful for colouring paper in black shades. They are often conveniently used in the form of concentrated aqueous solutions containing alkali to pH 10 to 11.
