Abstract

1465360 Pipe couplings CRW CHEMIEROHRWERK ING PROCHASKA GmbH & CO KG 1 May 1974 [28 May 1973] 19003/74 Heading F2G A flexible pipe coupling arrangement comprises an 0-ring 9 located against a circumferential annular shoulder 6 on the surface of the pipe the assembly of which fits into a cylindrical socket 3, the depth of insertion being limited by a circumferential annular stop 11 and the joint being secured by a split ring 15 locating in a circumferential groove in the inner surface of the socket. The assembled joint is self adjusting in that the axis of the socket can undergo a small rotation relative to the axis of the pipe limited by the thickness of tolerance surfaces 8, 12.
