Abstract
146,219. M³ller, E. L. May 31, 1919, [Convention date]. Screw propellers.-A hollow metal propeller for aircraft is formed from a tubular hollow body constructed in the manner of a shell case, as shown in Fig. 2. The thickness of the walls may be varied in any desired manner and the bottom end may be closed. The propeller is pressed out of the shell case so that the open end of the case forms the tip of the blade and the solid base is attached to the propeller hub.
