Abstract

1461294 Screen printing NETZSCH MASCHINENFABRIK Gebr 10 May 1974 [15 May 1973] 20823/74 Heading B6C Articles 4 are screen printed in multi-colour by providing a plurality of offset surfaces 7 carried on a conveyor 8, and a plurality of screen printers 1 applying different colours to the offset surface. The individual colour images are applied to successive articles 4 during one cycle of travel of article conveyor 9, images of different colours being applied during the next cycle of travel. This may be achieved by varying the relative speeds of conveyors 8 and 9, or by carrying a different number of articles 4 on conveyor 9 to the number of offset surfaces. The offset surfaces may be pivoted as at 5 to conveyer 8, and be pivoted as shown at the right-hand end and be pressed into contact with the article by pressure member 2. The articles may be passed through drying oven 6.
