Abstract

Harrows.-A clod-crushing harrow or harrow attachment for implements comprises a rectangular frame provided with transverse rows of fixed teeth 2, 2<x> and with rotary spiked wheels 4 mounted on a transverse spindle 3 between the two middle rows of teeth. The timber framing comprises a number of longitudinal members, and is held together by metal strips or bars c. There are four rows of fixed teeth 2, 2<x>, and the rotary spiked wheels 4 are arranged so that their spikes 5 co-act with pairs of the teeth 2<x> in both the two middle rows so as to produce a shearing action as they move both upwardly and downwardly.
