1459371 Pneumatic jacks HASEGAWA HAGURUMA KK 22 May 1975 [24 May 1974] 22117/75 Heading F1D [Also in Division F2] Jacking means, which enable a vehicle to be moved horizontally as well as vertically, comprise a cylindrical bag Fig. 3, made from a single layer of web material, the height of which is substantially equal to the diameter of the cylindrical portion, and a hose 4, 5, Fig. 1, with a check-valve, which connects the bag to the exhaust pipe of a vehicle during inflation. As described, the height of the bag is between 0.9 and 1.2 times the diameter thereof. The hose 5, Fig. 4, has a cord 23 which is cross-shaped in cross-section, running therethrough to permit a flow of gases if the hose is bent or squashed, Figs. 7-9, (not shown), illustrate how a vehicle may be removed from a ditch.
