Abstract

1458844 Watch bearings DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 21 May 1974 [28 May 1973] 22624/74 Heading G3T [Also in Division F2] A bearing assembly, e.g. for a watch, comprises a bearing jewel or other member 13 with a hole 12 communicating with a recess 22 and a staff or pivot 10 having an end portion 11 which is rotatably supported in and passes through the hole 12 and which contains a groove 24 disposed within the recess 22. Any oil which runs along the staff is retained by the groove, thrown into the recess by centrifugal force, and returned to the hole 12 by surface tension. The oil (18), Fig. 1 (not shown) is stored between the jewel 13 and an end stone (16).
