Abstract

1458639 Power cable SIEMENS AG 24 Feb 1975 [3 May 1974] 7700/75 Heading H1A The outer conductive layer 4 of a power cable is made from a plastics/elastomer base and is grooved 5 longitudinally of its axis at intervals around its circumference to facilitate stripping. It is preferably applied over insulation layer 3 by extrusion. Layers 1 and 2 are respectively a metal core and an inner plastics conductive layer. Olefin polymers or copolymers are preferred materials for the conductive plastics.
