1457482 Lubricants TEXACO DEVELOPMENT CORP 10 May 1975 19759/75 Heading C5F A lubricating oil composition comprises a major amount of a mineral hydrocarbon oil and a corrosion inhibiting amount of a mixture of (a) at least one amine salt of a C 8 -C 10 aliphatic monocarboxylic acid, e.g. an isobutylamine, n-butylamine, t-butylamine, tributylamine, npentylamine, n-hexylamine, cyclohexylamine, morpholine or N-methylmorpholine salt of octanoil, nonanoic or decanoic acid and (b) at least one amide of diethanolamine and an unsaturated C 12 -C 20 fatty acid, e.g. the diethanolamide of tall oil acid, palmitic acid, oleic acid or linoleic acid.
