1456055 Bearings FORD MOTOR CO Ltd 29 Nov 1974 51924/74 Headings F2A and F2B A bearing assembly comprises a resilient seal 1 seated on one of two relatively rotatable parts 3, 5, the seal having two lips 7, 9 which engage and are resiliently deformed by surfaces situated at right angles to each other on the second of the two relatively rotatable parts; one said surface is provided by a collar 15 fitted against a shoulder 11 on the part 5. The part 3 may form the shaft of a motor vehicle wheel.
