145,602. Miles, G. W. Feb. 4, 1915, [Convention date). No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Emulsions, making.-Paraffin wax either alone or in mixture is emulsified by heating and beating with a soluble soap and a reduced quantity of water. The amount of water should be sufficient to make the soap workable as a viscous paste. A thin paste may be used and the excess of water removed by evaporation until the wax emulsifies. The mixture can then be diluted.
