Abstract

326,325. Alexander, C. C. Feb. 25, 1929. Preserving eggs.-A composition for preserving eggs by coating consists of lime, liquid petrolatum, paraffin wax and formaldehyde. The mixture is prepared by melting the wax and then adding the other ingredients and stirring. In use the mixture is treated and the eggs dipped therein. An example of the proportions used in the mixture is given in the Specification.
