Abstract

145,555. Daegel, E. Nov. 16, 1917, [Convention date]. Clamping-devices. - A paper file has two substantially U- shaped clamping-wires b journaled by one limb in lugs b<1>, stamped up from a base-plate a, the other limb moving parallel to the sheets and having its free end angularly directed to clamp the sheets. Wire operating-levers e are similarly mounted at e<1> and have cranked portions for elevating the clamping-wires against the action of a double leaf spring c. The operating-levers are movable independently of the clamping-wires.
