1455180 Reactors KRAFTWERK UNION AG 5 Sept 1974 [10 Sept 1973] 38919/74 Heading G6C A pressurized-water reactor has a shut-off valve 9 in the live steam conduit 8 within the spherical safety envelope 10; valve 9 is placed equatorially and an air-lock 37 is provided for access to it. Valve 9 is actuable in two stages. At least one safety valve is also included and may blow off into, or outside of, the safety envelope. A further shut-off valve may be added and is outside the safety envelope.
