1406960 Storing radio-active material WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORP 22 Oct 1973 [7 Nov 1972] 49011/73 Heading G6R [Also in Division B4] A storage tank arrangement for solutions containing fissile material comprises concentric annular tanks 10, 18 separated by annular walls 16 made of a material, e.g. concrete; having a neutron capture cross-section sufficient to prevent the formation of a critical mass in the tanks. The tanks may be connected together at 26 and may be filled through pipe 28.
