Abstract

1,247,869. Reactor pressure vessels. BABCOCK & WILCOX Ltd. 15 May, 1969 [16 May, 1968], No. 23281/68. Heading G6C. A gas-cooled nuclear reactor is disposed within a concrete pressure vessel, the wall of which is formed with pods in which are mounted the heat exchangers. The pod 1, is closed by the plate 4, coupled by the bolts 6, to the annular plate 7. The latter is clamped in position by the prestressing cables 10.
