Abstract
1454277 Stirrers SCAN BLANDNINGSTEKNIK AB 7 Nov 1973 [13 Nov 1972[ 51762/ 73 Heading B1C A propeller, particularly for stirring purposes, comprises two or more blades 3 connected to a central hub 1 and is characterised in that each blade is shaped in such a way as to be essentially part of the mantle of a circular cylinder or cone, the centre line C of the blade starting from the outer end of the blade and extending inwardly towards the hub forming a gradually increasing angle to the -generators of the cylinder or cone so that at each point of said centre line the pitch of the propeller at that point is essentially constant. The material thickness is substantially constant over the entire surface of the blade and, the blade is arranged in such a way that the generatrix through the centre of gravity T of the blade forms an angle to the radius through the same point and lies in front of said radius as seen in the rotational direction of the propeller.
