Abstract

1453807 Envelope assemblies BURROUGHS CORP 7 Jan 1975 [24 Jan 1974] 511/75 Heading B6A Two superposed webs are provided with perforated and glued areas which define a plurality of separable envelope assemblies, each comprising a separable invoice portion 40, return stub portion 42 and return envelope 36, the latter including a sealing flap 54. The assemblies are provided in transversely spaced pairs across the webs, which webs have removable margins with transport perforations 16, and are tacked together by glue spots 60. Perforations 48 divide the invoice portion from the stub portion and offset lines of perforations 50, 52 divide the return envelope from the invoice and stub portions and provide the sealing flap 54. The flap bears adhesive 56 which may be covered with a protective tape 58. The three edges of the envelope remote from the flap are glued together. A coating 44 of transfer material, or a separate transfer sheet allows data to be marked on to the invoice and stub portions of the sealed assemblies.
