145,367. Mattocks, J. H. Jan. 21, 1920. Steelyard apparatus.-A steelyard for weighing in two or more systems of weight has an inclined surface with two or more sets of notches a, b. The main poise D carries a sliding nib A adjustable to engage the desired set of notches by a screw h or other suitable mechanism. Attached to the steelyard is an inclined reading-scale carrying a small poise c and arranged in the same plane as the inclined surface of the steelyard. For two systems of weight, scales f, e, d, k are provided, co-operating with indicating-pointers on the poises.
