Abstract

1453135 Epicyclic gearing AGINFOR AG FUR INDUSTRIELLE FORSCHUNG 23 Jan 1974 [23 Jan 1973] 03191/74 Heading F2Q A two- or four-stage eccentric planet gear between aligned input and output shafts 10, 26, has a first stage comprising a plate 13, freely eccentrically mounted at 12 on the input shaft 10, and having complete rings 14, 15 of teeth radially and equally spaced from the disc centre, meshing sun wheels 16, 17 on intermediate shafts 18, 19 rotating about fixed parallel axes and constituting the inputs to the second stage, comprising, on each shaft 18, 19, one, two or three equally phased eccentrics 22, 23, each carrying an externally or internally toothed eccentric planet 24 meshing an internally or externally toothed central gear 25 fast on the output shaft 26. In Fig. 2, not shown, the input plate is divided axially into three sections, a central section (33) and, at 180 degrees eccentricity, two equally phased outer sections (32, 34), and each intermediate shaft 18, 19 has two 180 degree phased eccentrics each carrying a planet wheel (24<SP>1</SP>, 24<SP>11</SP>). In Fig. 3, not shown, two such two-stage gears are arranged in series.
