1452586 Seals JACUZZI RESEARCH INC 31 July 1974 [28 Nov 1973] 33738/74 Heading F2B In a pump having a plastics impeller 25, wear, due to relative rotation of the housing 43 and the impeller is prevented by making them rotatably fast with one another e.g. spring end 85 entering hole 87. The spring 41 provides sealing pressure and secondary sealing for carbon ring 49. A ceramic ring 55 is mounted in grommet 53. The impeller is preferably of glass filled plastics.
