Abstract

1452312 Animal litter box FLEXIMAT CORP 2 Nov 1973 [24 Jan 1973] 51038/73 Heading AIM A moulded litter box comprises a pan section 110 having walls 112-115 and a bottom 16, a cover section 111 having walls 138-141 and inwardly extending flanges 142 surrounding an entrance aperture in the top. A pair of spaced hinges 145 join walls 115 and 141. The pan walls 112-115 slope upwardly and outwardly while the cover walls 138-141 slope upwardly and inwardly. Carrying handles 128, 129 are moulded in the end walls 112, 113. A disposable liner, shaped to generally conform to the inside of the pan 10, spreads over the rib 126 so that the surplus is outside the box. When the liner is in place litter is spread on it, and snap latches secure the cover and pan in the closed position.
